this was for James Gurney's (dinopia creator) blog where he provides a quote and we illustrate it. It's always a quote taken from a novel that is out of context. It creates some pretty interesting images lol.

This is such a beautiful piece, but there is something very disturbing, almost sad about it. It's a complicated feeling to describe, but I do feel very sad when I look at it. Hope that doesn't sound too strange, because I don't think that was the effect you were looking for. But adding to favorites anyway!
