Great Artwork, the motion in the picture reminds me of cascading waves.

dark corners work

add a dash of surreal to an otherwise light depraved area. :D

so amazing. it looks like something I would subconsiously incorporate into one of my drawings now because the technique is so good and interesting I can't get it out of my head now. Some advice for photographing your work, don't use the flash, or if you do, step away from the work a little so that the flash doesn't affect it to much and then just crop everything to the side. Also, if you have access to photoshop enhancing the levels slightly may help make it look like the original painting. Your work is certainly worth taking a proper photo of.

sweet, and thanks. yeah i've grown a lil since taking the firewater pic...took me a few years to learn some basic factors to getting a good pic lol. this one is still a problem however due to it's size it's 54x60 or something. blah i'll get it sooner or later thx again for the advice. i'm glad it had such an impact on you

hey, yeah it's too large to get a good pic with my camera. Unfortunately though romania-bronx ny is a long ways away lol
but yeah the camera blurred it a bit and the colors are a bit brighter in person...there's more detail in the waves and such that the camera just doesn't pick up on this scale.

Delectable, even. Just the sort of image I'd love to have hanging on my walls.

The primary colours match wonderfully with the primary elements, and the composition is wonderful.

Have you tried photographing your images with an SLR and no flash? I find it tends to give the most realistic portrayal of what you see in the photo reproduction.

All I can say is WOW. Salmonofdoubt pretty much summed it up in one post, gorgeous vivid colors and amazing gradients+flow. You're clearly very talented, great work.

This piece is stunning. Lovely vivid colours and textures, good contrast, and lots of movement. I think the main reason why it particularly rocks, though, is because you managed to get a semi-decent photo of it. :P I bet most of your paintings look a good deal better before being drained by some surly camera. You should probably edit them slightly to get them back to their original condition. It's not really cheating.

lol your absolutely correct maybe i should take a photo class or something. I have moved into taking my pictures in daylight for the past 5-6 deviations. they have been coming out a little better. As for this the main problem with this picture is it's too big in rl 5ft by 3ft. I'll provide a better blowup for it in a few.
